Messier 33
Messier 33 smaller version of the Milky Way. The name of this galaxy is Messier 33 or NGC 598. This galaxy was first discovered,
but wasn't named in 1654 by Giovanni Batista Hodierna. Over a century later a man named Charles Messier independently discovered
this galaxy in 1764, who then catalogued it as M33 on August 25. M33 was also catalogued independently by William Herschel
on September 11, 1784, who assigned it the number H V.17.
